Music Fest 09

This was Little Man's 1st Downtown Music Fest & he had a ball! There were tents set up, in case of rain, but luckily, not a drop last night! 'Whiskey Bent' was the band on the street & all the restaurants had specials & bands too. Lil man ran into one of his school girlfriends & they held hands, chased each other & danced their booties off! It was really cute! Needless to say, I had a pooped boy on the way home...

March 14th was my Papa's (Marshall Hartelius) birthday - this was the man that taught me that you can fix or build anything, if you put your mind to it; to love frozen grapes & built me my 1st amazing dollhouse! He also had a wicked sense of humor & would embarass you in a heartbeat. He never missed an evening without a dry martini - so much so that we kids would fight over his olives & renamed it a 'Hartini'. Miss you Papa...

Sunny Day!

What a difference a week makes! Last week, we were building snowmen & now this! Washing cars, reading books in the sun & chillin' on the hammock! What a great day! (& yes, Grandma, Mommy put sunscreen on me ;)

We're lucky if we get 1 day of snow a year & yesterday was it! Lil Man loved running around in it, trying to make snowballs & making a snowman...
