Banged Up, Bruised & Now Bitten

Well, it was bound to happen. Trae came home from school today with a bite on his arm! The funny thing is, they didn't realize it had happened until right when I was picking him up because he never cried!

I can just see him now, looking at 'so-n-so' like

'why in the world did you do that?'

Testosterone Fest

Today was our turn to host Dave's Fantasy football league - in good news, we don't have to provide the food anymore - it's pot luck. The guys are big fans of smoking Boston butts on the Green Egg - a man thing I guess - I could go a year without looking at a pork product at this point (bacon not included)... anyway, I digress, we had seen Alton Brown recently do one, so we thought we'd try it out. Everyone really like it! Lil man even ate some for dinner, with his favorite 'Allen's' green beans...

Of course, thanks to the guys, Lil man also had his 1st drumstick & loved it too:

& I don't know if you can see it, but he got a major goose-egg trying to run at top-speed, down hill, holding a golf ball in each hand - doesn't work out well buddy:

Twinkle Twinkle

Lil man got to really see his 1st clear sky & a ton of stars last night - I picked him up from Grandma's after dark & when we got out of the car, he looked up, pointed & said 'LOOK!' So, of course I had to break into 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star'... he was fasinated & it was sweet...

Pretty Cards

That's what I wanted this morning, just one more hour of sleep - but could you sleep with this face looking at you wanting to play?

Finally!

Ok - am I finally getting with the times? Who knows, but I've finally taken the plunge & started a blog. I figure my family is sick of emails with my cute as a bug boy (if I do say so myself), so now they can just check in here if they want. I'll try to do my best to keep up here, but as many of you know, life is fast with a toddler - but I wouldn't change it for the world!
